BMC is dedicated to maintaining a community which recognizes and values the authenticity and dignity of human being; promote tolerance, understanding, and mutual respect among its individuals; and encourages everyone to endeavor reaching his/her own potential.
In its way to achieve leadership and academic excellence, BMC seeks to develop diversity that the diversity among members shall strengthen the college, stimulates creativity, and reinforce the exchange of ideas, as well as enriches academic life. BMC views, evaluates, and treats all persons in any of its related activities, only as individuals based on their own personal capacities, qualifications, and other relevant characteristics.
BMC Stand in appreciation of all the women who glow with their giving, fulfill their determination, and reach their potential to the ambitions they deserve. BMC is supporting Gender Equality through different policies, activities, and access schemes.
First-Generation Female Students
At BMC, 230 women are starting their degree, 70% of them are First Generation students which indicating that BMC is one of the top favorite and objective college for young Saudi females.
Student Access Measures
BMC is supporting Gender Equality by facilitate admission process and offer scholarship and financial aid, follow-up, track, and monitoring its female students particularly First-Generation FEMALE ones. BMC has clear policies, rules and regulations for admission, selection criteria and acceptance rates for all students particularly females and minority groups and promotes applications in specialties where women were underrepresented. BMC also offers adequate women’s access plans and tracks and measures study completion rate on a regular base. The BMC’s counseling unit, under the supervision of the student affairs, provides international, female, and minority group students with private confidential services for resolving students’ difficulties and help them grow personally and academically. The counseling unit aims to provide students with alternative ways of approaching their problems. Some of the services covered through the counseling unit includes psychological counseling, academic and group counseling. BMC has been collaborating with local and national institutions and organizations to promote and enhance the Gender Equality outcomes as women education, training and awareness activities are organized and run by BMC academic staff and students in all areas of women empowerment within the national community.
Senior Female Academics
BMC undertakes promote females to all senior positions with no restrictions. A substantial indicator for Women empowerment at BMC is 64.5% of BMC senior academic staff and senior positions were FEMALES; From BMC Vice Dean to head of programs and head of departments in addition to other academic units.
Women Receiving Degrees
BMC constantly monitors all aspects related to its students particularly females. BMC follow up and assures female’s applications, completion, and graduation in every subject area. In 2022 class, 52.5% of BMC's graduates were FEMALES.

BMC views, evaluates, and treats all persons in any of its related activities, only as individuals based on their own personal capacities, qualifications, and other relevant characteristics. BMC prohibits discrimination against any member of its community based on race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin or ancestry, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, or disability in any of its related activities or operations. BMC conducts its programs, services, and activities consistent with Saudi Arabia regulations and laws. In addition, BMC promotes and acknowledges the equal employment opportunity for women, minorities, persons with disabilities. Any BMC employee, student, guest, or visitor sharing in a BMC’s activity, who has faced or witnessed discrimination and/or harassment accident is encouraged to report the incident(s) immediately. Reporting of complaints is essential to the BMC's capability resolving the case. As soon as BMC has received a report of discrimination or harassment case, it will take ALL necessary and immediate actions to PROTECT the reporter and/or complainant; these actions may include taking temporary steps before the determination of the results of the investigation. BMC is committed to respond to information of which it becomes aware, whether received directly or indirectly. BMC has informal and formal processes for resolving complaints of discrimination and/or harassment. The complainant has the right to proceed directly with formal resolution. If the complainant finds that preliminary informal endeavors are inadequate or not satisfactory, he/she may then seek formal resolution. In cases involving criminal behavior, the complainant has the right to notify police at any time. BMC may also make an independent determination to inform police and/or other authorities based on the nature of the case.
Maternity and Paternity Policies
BMC has clear maternity and paternity policies that defined and explained the eligibility, application, procedure, period of each leave as well as extension and return to work.
Childcare Facilities for Students and Staff
BMC have agreements with near childcare facilities, kindergartens, and nurseries for BMC’s students and workwomen staff which allow recent mothers to attend their courses or work. BMC ensure the quality of these facilities which provide special rate for BMC students and workwomen kids. All these facilities can accept children from the age of 6 months with different programs cover many activities to grow the kid’s learning capabilities, social and motor skills with unique education.
Women’s Mentoring Schemes
BMC organizes a wide range of WOMEN's Mentoring Schemes through different Programs, Units, Centers, and Clubs. Females are participated in more than 75% of these Schemes. BMC has more than 50 student-run clubs, societies, and groups, that cover broad spectra of student’s activities and interactions including social responsibility and community service clubs, cultural awareness groups, performing groups, sports and games clubs, spiritual groups, Entrepreneurship, Skills Development, student leadership and activism, student publications. In addition, student clubs’ activities provide opportunity to various club members/students from different programs to promote awareness services and social and environmental campaigns to the public. BMC has an energetic and dynamic Women Empowerment Club with a mission to clear the gender inequality issues and empowering all the women from different nations and cultures for their rights with a vision to develop more confident females’ leaders to be passionate of what they are doing and contribute to the society and make difference. BMC Women Empowerment Club has goals to inspire women to show their inner strength and expand the capability to a high level in their personalities.
Track Women’s Graduation Rate
BMC constantly monitors all aspects related to its students particularly females. BMC follow up and assures female’s applications, completion, and graduation in every subject area. In 2022 class, 52.5% of BMC's graduates were FEMALES as well as 95.7% of BMC females students were completed their courses and graduated from the cohort program within the expected time frame.
Policies protecting those reporting discrimination
BMC is committed to protect its students and staff who facing or reporting discrimination and/or harassment from any kind of educational or employment disadvantage, retaliation after reporting or participating in the complaint process. BMC conducts its programs, services, and activities consistent with Saudi Arabia regulations and laws.
