    Prof. Dr. Sabrin Ibrahim is Professor of Natural Products Chemistry. She is Deputy of Ethical and Scientific Research committees in BMC. She joined BMC as Professor of Chemistry since 2021. She pursued her PhD from Heinrich-Heine University, Dusseldorf, Germany in 2005, after completing Master`s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University in Egypt. She has worked as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor of Pharmacognosy at Assuit University and Taibah University in Madinah Al-Munawara, Saudi Arabia as well. She has published 267 publications, two patents, and three book chapters. More than 35 highly indexed journals have her as an editor in their editorial boards. She is Co-I in more than 30 research projects at the national and international level. She is recognized in the world’s top 2% most important scientists in her field worldwide, according to the lists issued by Stanford University from 2021 to 2023.

  • Hassan Izzeddin Yousef Sarsak

    Head of Occupational Therapy Program , Associate Professor

    Hassan Sarsak received his PhD degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Occupational Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. Dr. Sarsak is a consultant for Assistive Technology at the World Health Organization (WHO). In 2017, Dr. Sarsak developed the Wheelchair Training Program (WTP) to become the first Arabic training program approved by the International Society of Wheelchair Professionals (ISWP) and the first Arabic-speaking international trainer recognized by the Wheelchair International Network (WIN). In 2019, he developed an Occupational Therapy Program to become the first Occupational Therapy Program approved by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) in Saudi higher education private sector and is currently the Head of the Program at Batterjee Medical College (BMC). In 2020, Dr. Sarsak developed the Enriching Arabic Content in Occupational Therapy Project and since then has authored over five books in Arabic language. Dr. Sarsak has recently developed the OT Dictionary Mobile Application to become the first electronic Occupational Therapy Dictionary worldwide.

  • Mohamed Lotfy Morsi Ashour

    Professor, Pharmacy Program

    Mohamed Lotfy Ashour is currently a professor of pharmaceutical sciences at Batterjee Medical College since September 2018. He got his PhD in 2010 from the Department of Pharmaceutical Biology, Heidelberg University, Germany. Since then, he has conducted research on different aspects related to medicinal plants. He coauthors over 145 highly indexed (Q1 and Q2) publications in Scopus or Web of Science (research articles, review articles, book chapters). He is a reviewer in many peer-reviewed journals and serves as an associate editor in two international ISI-indexed journals. Based on the impact of his work, Stanford's ranking has nominated him as one of the top 2% most influential scientists in the field since 2020. He has many local and international-funded projects (more than 20) in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, in collaboration with Germany and Italy.

    The main research interest is medicinal plants, with a special emphasis on isolation, structure elucidation, and biological screening of secondary metabolites from plants and marine organisms. In addition to applying molecular modeling and multivariate analysis in natural product research

I was Dean of the College of Medical Radiologic Science, SUST, Khartoum – Sudan. I am active reviewer of different national and international journals and  KACST, I have published more than 50 papers in highly impacted journals and  supervised PhD, MSc students and graduation research Projects.

    Dr. Ayedh Alahmari Graduated from the University of South Alabama (USA) in 2008 as respiratory therapist, master's in respiratory leadership from University of Evansville, Indiana, USA and finished with PhD in 2014 from university college London (Respiratory medicine UK), Worked as a clinical research fellow at COPD Research Group, National Heart & Lung Institute, Imperial College London.     Dr. Ayedh Alahmari's primary research interest is in COPD exacerbations, with a particular focus on influence of weather and atmospheric pollution on patients with COPD, The relationship between exercise capacity and Inflammatory Markers at COPD Exacerbation, recovery and time course of exacerbation. Also, the current group as medical academic department we interested in medical education and students’ development.

    Dr. Osama Abdelraouf is a professor of physical therapy who spent over 30 years teaching in highly ranked Universities in different countries. This may be the reason he adopts multicultural education, where histories, texts, values, beliefs, and perspectives of people from different cultural backgrounds are incorporated. His unique approach in education helped to improve student attitudes towards his courses, as well as their ability to look at things from a broader context and from different angles. He used to teach a diversity of courses including Biomechanics, human kinesiology, sports injuries, musculoskeletal radiology, as well as basic psychology that serves to add a deeper dimension to his comprehensive teaching philosophy.

Previously I worked as a PT lecturer at the Saudi German Institute for Nursing and Allied Health (SGNA) in Jeddah and Madina, where I spent there around seven years teaching most of the PT subjects and I was the head of the PT department there. I have an extensive clinical experience; that before I joined the teaching I was working as a PT specialist for about twelve years in many hospitals and centers in Egypt and Saudi Arabia (Jeddah and Madina).

    Dr. Ahmed MS Sapri is an Assistant Professor and the Head of the OMFS Division at Dentistry Program – BMC. He obtained his PhD degree in OMFS (2014) from Mansoura University, Egypt under the tutelage of the late Professor Mohammed Kenawy and Dr. Fouad Albelasy well-known and eminent OMFS professors.
