Nursing is humanistic profession concerned with providing care to individuals, families and communities, to maintain or recover their optimal health.

Historically, Florence Nightingale is known as the first nurse in the world. However, nursing was older than that; it goes back to the Sahabiat who were caring of injured victims during war. Nursing profession is vital and there is a demand for nurses all over the world and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The number of qualified nurses does not meet the need of the population and health care system.

The nursing program at Batterjee Medical College was established in the academic year 2009-2010. This program aims to provide a unique innovative educational service that will lead to graduate qualified nurses who can meet the demand of the community and the health care system.
