Requirements for Saudi High School:

  1. High school certificate (12th grade)
  2. Qudarat Exam
  3. Tahsili Exam

Requirements for International High School

  1. High school certificate (12th grade)
  2. For British curriculum: O level with 5 subjects which must include Biology, Chemistry or Physics, and English. AS Level or A level with 2 subjects Biology and chemistry or Biology and Physics

Admission eligibility for High school graduates

  1. Applicants with a minimum of 95% in high school (after BMC equivalency) can join any program at BMC. Applicants with less than 95% can join any program except Medicine. However, if a student achieves a GPA of 4.5 out of 5.0 in the first year of the program at BMC, they will be eligible to transfer to Medicine or any other program.
  2. If the student fails the first year, they will no longer be eligible to continue in the Medicine program and must choose an alternative program

Requirements for Transfer Foundation Year

Students who have completed a Foundation Year program with science subjects at another college or university may apply for direct admission into any program at BMC, subject to evaluation of the committee and availability of seats, as per the criteria below:

  1. CGPA from 4.5 out of 5 or 3.6 out of 4 and above can apply to all programs in BMC
  2. Less than above CGPA can join any program except Medicine program
  3. The following documents are required
    • High School Certificate
    • Transcript with credit hours
    • Course specification of studied curriculum (if required)
    • Other documents (if required)

Requirements for Regular College/University Transfer Students

  1. Applicants studying in other colleges/university can apply as transfer student to BMC in any program
  2. Evaluation for transfer applicants would be approved by Academic Affairs
  3. The following documents are required:
    • High School Certificate
    • Transcript with credit hours
    • Course specification of studied curriculum (if required)
    • Other Documents (if required)

Requirements for Bridging Students (Diploma holder students)

  1. BMC will accept Bridging students in all programs except Medicine
  2. Applicants are required to take the BMC English Language Exam if they do not hold TOEFL, IELTS, or STEP certificate
  3. Applicants having diploma of 3 years or more may join from the 3rd year of program
  4. Applicants having a diploma less than 3 years, may join from the 2nd year of program
  5. The following documents are required:
    • Diploma Certificate
    • Diploma Transcript
    • Internship Certificate
    • TOEFL, ILETS, STEP or BMC English Language Exam
    • Certificate of Professional Accreditation from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (if needed)

Requirements for Double Major (Bachelor Degree or above, Graduated Students):

  1. The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree
  2. The acceptance will be based on academic credential evaluation
  3. Applicants with a CGPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 or 3.2 out of 4.0 in their foundation year or bachelor's degree will directly join any program. Applicants with a CGPA below this threshold can apply for admission to any program except Medicine
  4. Master's/postgraduates or PhD holders in medical-related fields will join second year of the program, subject to committee approval
  5. The following documents are required:
    • Bachelor's Degree certificate
    • Transcript with credit hours
    • High School Certificate
    • Course specification of studied curriculum (if required)

Direct Program Placement (Foundation Year Exemption)

This pathway enables students to fast-track their academic journey by passing the first year.


A. Eligibility Criteria

  1. For Students with a Saudi Curriculum
    • An overall GPA of at least 95% in the Saudi General High School Certificate
    • A score of 75% in the Qudrat Test (or equivalent)
    • A score of 75% in the Tahsili Test (or equivalent).
  2. For Students with an International Curriculum
    • 95% in the General High School Certificate.
  3. English Language Proficiency. Submission of scores from one of the following tests:
    • IELTS: Minimum score of 6.
    • TOEFL IBT: score of 80/120.
    • STEP: Minimum score of 95.
    • BMC English Proficiency Test offered by the college score of 80/120.

B. Direct Program Placement Requirements and Process:

  1. Applicants must pass the Direct Program Placement Test, conducted in English for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Medical Terminology, and meet the minimum admission score for direct enrollment
  2. An iPad is required to attend the exam
  3. Saudi ID/Iqama must be presented for verification during the exam and interview
  4. If the applicant pass the direct placement exam, a personal interview will be scheduled to assess the applicant's communication skills
  5. Upon acceptance, students will complete four courses remotely while being directly placed into their program
    • First Semester
      • Introduction to Health Professions (PYIPE 101)
      • Islamic Culture (PYISL 101)
    • Second Semester
      • Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (PYAI 101)
      • Arabic Language (PYAR 101): If the applicant fails to achieve the required grade for Direct Program Placement in one of the programs, they have the right to enroll in the college and join the program foundation year in the regular system

Rules and Requirements for Science Preparatory Year

The Science Preparatory Year program at BMC provides non-science students an opportunity to pursue their aspirations in the medical field. Upon successful completion of the program, students are equipped with foundational science knowledge to qualify for entry into BMC's medical programs

Rules and Regulations

  1. Students who meet the admission criteria are eligible to enroll in any BMC program based on their grades in the Science Preparatory Year however, their previous non-science high school grades will not be considered in any evaluations at BMC.
  2. No formal certificate will be issued for this program, Scores obtained during the Science Preparatory Year will not be included in the calculation of the cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for subsequent BMC programs.

Rules and Requirements for Master of Pharmacology and Toxicology

  1. Attested copy of Bachelor’s Degree and internship certificate in one of the following fields: Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Applied Medical Sciences, or a BS in Science specialized in Pharmacology. The applicant must have achieved at least a "Very Good" grade (CGPA 3.5/5 or equivalent).
  2. Attested copy of professional classification (if obtained).
  3. English language certificate, such as TOEFL with a score of 450 or IELTS with a score of 3.5, or equivalent
  4. Two recommendation letters from different faculty members who taught the applicant, with at least one recommendation from a faculty member specialized in Pharmacology.
  5. A personal interview will be required as part of the application process.

Rules of Admission and Registration

  1. Applicants must possess a high school certificate.
  2. Applicants who have completed an international curriculum or graduated from other countries must submit attested certificates from the relevant ministries, and provide translations of documents into English or Arabic, if necessary.
  3. Submission of a valid National ID or Iqama Residence is required.
  4. The applicant must be medically fit and not be expelled from other universities due to behavioral issues.
  5. Registering through the college website does not guarantee admission. Final acceptance is confirmed only after completing all required procedures, including filling out the acknowledgment form, paying the semester tuition fee, and receiving the student ID number.
  6. The grades of transferred courses/credits from other colleges/universities for applicants transferring to BMC will not be included in the cumulative GPA at BMC.
  7. BMC will communicate with applicants through their email address, which serves as the official mode of communication.

Registration & Admission undertaking

  4. I acknowledge that if any document or information is found fake at any point during my studies, my admission will be revoked, all fees paid will be non-refundable, and I will be obligated to settle any outstanding dues
  5. I commit to the college's rules and regulations, ensuring timely payment of tuition fees as specified by the college. Additionally, I comply with the college's uniform policy
  6. I acknowledge that the college reserves the right to withhold the announcement of results and retain original documents until all financial dues are settled
  7. I acknowledge that I am responsible for providing a laptop or iPad for my studies and exams
  8. Social media platforms have clear and established guidelines. As a student, my interactions on any social media should remain within the bounds of productive discussions and constructive debates. Any violation, whether against the institution, its members, or general ethical and legal standards on any social media platform, may result in necessary legal action being taken.
  9. I confirm that the information in the medical form is accurate, and the college may take action any information is found incorrect
  10. BMC permits co-education under the supervision of qualified staff and faculty, in accordance with Islamic law and cultural values.
  11. I pledge to adhere to my assigned shift and schedule as determined by the committee, which reserves the right to modify them if necessary

Tuition Fee Policy

  1. All students must pay the tuition fees before start of new semester.
  2. All fees are subject to change and will apply to all students.
  3. If a student receives a partial scholarship, they are required to pay the remaining tuition fees.
  4. Value added tax is applied as per government policy.
  5. In case of Withdrawal or No Show, all financial scholarships/discounts availed by the student during the last study period, will be charged back to the student.

Tuition Fees Refund Policy

  1. Registration fee is non-refundable.
  2. The Direct Program Placement Exam fee (SR 6000) is non-refundable once the exam is attended
  3. Students can receive a refund of the tuition fee if they withdraw before the start of the academic year or if they have not attended any classes
  4. Students can receive a refund of any excess tuition fees paid or charged in the event of withdrawal or holding, provided that the student has not attended classes
  5. If a student has attended the classes and wishes to withdraw, or "Holding Registration," the tuition fees are refundable according to the table below:
