I am Amir Elhadi from Sudan. Married and I have a daughter and two sons. I have a Ph.D. in the Physiology field, from Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Shendi University, Sudan. I previously worked in the College of Applied Medical Sciences at Al-Jouf University, Saudi Arabia for about nine years. I also worked as a lecturer at the College of Medicine, Ahfad University for women in Sudan for seven years. Besides my main job at Batterjee Medical College, I sometimes participate as a volunteer in some organizations that interesting in environmental improvement and smoking control.
A total of 30 blood group systems are recognized by ISBT. The reliability of the blood group data for assessing relationships between populations is very limited. Determination of minor blood group phenotypes is useful for many studies, e.g. correlation between phenotype and diseases.
Dr. Mudassar did his MBBS from University of Health Sciences, Pak and FCPS (Histopathology) from College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. He served as Faculty in well renowned institutions in Pakistan like King Edward Medical University (KEMU), Lahore and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research centre (SKMCH & RC) before moving to Saudi Arabia. Since 2012, he is working as Head of Pathology department in Batterjee Medical College, Jeddah, KSA. He is actively involved in PBL curriculum development and teaching undergraduates of medicine and allied specialties. He is also block leader of Regulation and Integration block and planning members of many other blocks of Medicine Program.
He has deep interest in “Cytopathology” and published in international American journal like “Cytopathol”. His other research interests include “Breast and Lymph Node Pathology” and diagnostic histopathology.
Dr. Noha Elkady is working as an associate professor of pathology in BMC. She has worked as Assistant professor and consultant of Pathology in Menoufia Medical college and teaching hospital. She is the coordinator of OSPE III, a block leader and a member of planning groups in many blocks In PBL curriculum. She worked as a member in medical education unit and a coordinator in quality committee for accreditation in Menoufia University. She has published many scientific research papers in highly impacted international journals and is an author of pathology book. She had some awards due to unique research and presentation. She had participated in many community service campaigns. She had passed many courses in education, Administration and medical research from Harvard and Oxford Universities. She also had attended many workshops in WHO.
Dr. Noha Elkady is interested in research related to diseases, those that investigate the etiology, pathogenesis of different diseases or those that investigate different treatment modalities aiming at improving patients’ outcome in our developing countries. She is looking forward at continuing research on diseases affecting humans using the available up to date tools and sharing experience with other colleagues in different specialties.

Professor Dr. Manal El Said El Sayed has been graduated from faculty of medicine, Cairo University, 1997. She has Infection Control Diploma from Claude Bernard University, France, 2005 and MD in Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Cairo University, 2008. She is a member of infection control unit in Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, Giza, Egypt where she shared in construction of new units; Central Sterilization Unit (2007) and Health Care Waste Management Unit (2009) after her return from scientific mission in Frankfurt, Germany (2008). She shared in establishment of the Society for Practitioners of Infection Control-Egypt. She joined BMC since 2011 and works as Professor and head of Microbiology Department and Head of the Assessment Committee in medicine program. She has 26 published research papers and co-author in 2 booklets. She is editorial board member and reviewer in many international medical journals. She is member in the American Society for Microbiology and in various international societies. She won the Sponsorship Award of the International Federation of Infection Control (IFIC), 2004 and participated in several international conferences.
Research interest is medial microbiology including the diagnosis and antimicrobial susceptibility of bacteria, viruses and fungi. Her research interest is also extended to infection control in hospitals and antibiotics stewardships.
I did Bachelor in Pharmacy from University of Peshawar, Pakistan in 2002. Then I worked as Pharmacist for a period of 2 years in pharmaceutical industry. In 2004, I got admission in Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan, where I completed M. Phil in Microbiology in 2006. Since 2006 till 2012, I was teaching Microbiology in various recognized institutions of Pakistan. Apart from teaching, I was also actively involved in research and published a number of papers. Since 2012 till today, I am serving as Microbiology Lecturer at Batterjee Medical College, Jeddah Saudi Arabia. Here I am involved in Problem Based Learning (PBL) Module of Medicine Program as a tutor. Also I am supervising Microbiology Practical of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy Programs.
My main research interest is related to synthesis of Anti-microbial metabolites (Antibiotics) by Bacillus strains in free and immobilized states.
