    Assistant Professor

    Acting Head of Pharmacy Program

    Dr Nehmat Ghaboura is the Acting Head of Pharmacy Program at Batterjee Medical College (BMC). The BMC is located at Jeddah, Kingdome of Saudi Arabia and the program is a six-year entry level PharmD program. After completing her PhD in Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology in France on 2011, she joined the BMCPP as an Assistant Professor responsible of teaching Pharmacotherapeutics course. On 2013, she was assigned to supervise the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience and to be the coordinator for the cardiology rotation. On 2017, she was appointed the acting head of Pharmacy Program at BMC (BMCPP). At BMCPP, she is a member of the assessment committee, quality committee, and steering committee. She is a member at the ACCP Cardiology PRN International Committee and the ACCP EDTR PRN Membership Committee. She is serving as a volunteer reviewer for ACCP’s On Demand Letter of Intent (LOI) Review Service and a pilot tester for ACSAP modules.

  • Hesham Mahmoud Abdelhalim Elrefaey

    Professor

    El Refaey, Hesham. B. Pharm. SC. Ph.D Dr. El Refaey is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacology holding a PhD in molecular pharmacology from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, US. He is a board member of the Pharmacology committee, and a member of the Central Administration of Pharmaceutical Affairs at the Ministry of Health in Cairo, Egypt. I have a wide experience in different areas of research and teaching either in pharmacology, physiology and toxicology.

    He also has many years of clinical and managerial experience and has excellent organizational skills. His leadership skills help to create a positive and productive culture around him. Dr. El Refaey is expert in developing solid relationships with external organizations, as well as with members of the other community.

    Research Interest

    My major area of research includes cancer, neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases. Also, I have developed a very good personal and scientific relationship throughout my scientific career.

    Dr. El Refaey is a peer reviewer at the King Abdul Aziz City of Science and Technology and many other other international organizations and journals.

  • Mohammad Jaffar Sadiq Mantargi

    Associate Professor

    My professional learning career of pharmacy education started in early 2000 and succeeded in achieving PhD (Pharmacology) in the mid of 2014 from a public university under classy guidance of my supervisors. Thereafter, I have supervised 18 undergraduate and 2 postgraduate research projects as add on to my professional career, most  of which have been published. As of now, I have reviewed and published 37 research manuscripts in world renowned journals and 8 reviews in international daily circulated periodicals. Yet I consider that I’m just getting started and lot more to be achieved ahead. On the lighter note, I’m more off shortly a dreamer and prolific piano player but the challenge is I don’t know how to play it.

    Research Interest

    My area of interests includes research in pharmacy based on the integration of nanotechnology, high throughput screenings, Cell line studies, in-silico studies and nevertheless animal based studies. On the other hand, I take interest in participating in community based research as a part of service to mankind.

  • Mohamed Lotfy Morsi Ashour

    Associate Professor

    Department of Pharmacognosy, Ain Shams University, Egypt. He got his PhD on 2010 from Department of Pharmaceutical Biology, Heidelberg University, Germany. Since that, he conducts his research in pharmacognosy, phytotherapy, phytochemistry He worked twice as a post-doctoral fellow at Institute of Pharmacy and Molecular Biotechnology in Heidelberg, Germany on 2012 and Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy and Biosciences, Innsbruck University, Austria on 2016. He is the coauthor of more than 70 international publications (research articles, review articles, book chapters).

  • Roula Salah Bayram

    Assistant Professor

    Roula Bayram is Assistant professor of Analytical Chemistry at Pharmacy program, Batterjee Medical College for Sciences and Technology. She obtained her PhD in analytical chemistry in 2015 from Aleppo University, Syria.

    Dr. Bayram attended many workshops and lectures to develop new and advanced methods of teaching strategies and assessment methods to help create a dynamic and encouraging learning environment for students.

    She is also the academic coordinator of the program.

    Research Interest

    Dr. Bayram is interested in develop new analytical techniques and methods that will be adapted in quality control of pharmaceutical company.

  • Rawidh Jamal Al-Saidalani

    Lecturer

    Rawidh Alsaidalani is a lecturer of pharmacy/ Department of pharmaceutical sciences; she did her bachelor degree in pharmacy at university of Jordan 2010 and completed her MSc. in Pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Jordan, 2012. She is interested in industrial pharmacy area of research. Alsaidalani attended many workshops and lectures to develop new and advanced methods of teaching strategies and assessment methods to help create a dynamic and encouraging learning environment for students. She is also the coordinator of student activity unit responsible for supervising and organizing community services and extracurricular activities. In addition; she is mentoring pharmacy club at Batterjee medical college.
