BMC Celebrates the Graduation of its Seventh Batch

Batterjee Medical College for Science and Technology celebrated the graduation of the seventh batch of its students under the patronage of Engineer Sobhi Abdul Jalil Batterjee, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, at Sheikh Abdul Jalil Batterjee Auditorium. The ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries of Jeddah and official figures in addition to the graduates, their family members and Academic staff. The ceremony began with the national anthem then the march of Academics followed by graduates. After that, verses of the Holy Quran were recited by student Mohammed Ibrahim, winner of the first prize in the Quran contest in the Western region; subsequently, a documentary was displayed that highlights the most important stages of the development of the college and its programs as well as a brief about some of its achievements.

BMC's Board of Trustees Approves Academic and Administrative Decisions

Batterjee Medical College's Board of Trustees held its first meeting for the Academic Year of 2016-2017 at its fourth session, in the college campus in Jeddah.

The meeting was attended by Eng. Sobhi Batterjee, chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Khalid Batterjee, Vice Chairman, Dr. Osama Kensara, BMC Dean, Dr. Ghazi Damanhouri, Director of the King Fahd Center for Medical Research at King Abdulaziz University, Dr. Khalid JarAllah, General Director of Private Higher Education, Dr. Essam Azhar, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences and Dr. Khalid Alzmami, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences.

BMC Hosts a Delegation of British Universities to Discuss Means of Cooperation

With coordination between the British Council and Batterjee Medical College for Science and Technology, a delegation representing a number of British Universities (Cardiff University, University of Sheffield, University of Nottingham and the University of Liverpool) visited BMC's campus to discuss ways of cooperation in the field of medical education and exchange of experiences in the areas of mutual specializations such as medicine, dentistry, respiratory therapy, healthcare administration, radiology and medical imaging techniques, pharmacy, physical therapy and nursing.
