College of Physical Therapy

Mission of Physical Therapy Program:

The Physical Therapy Program equips students with the necessary scientific background in the field of Physical Therapy to meet international standards while maintaining the Islamic identity and tradition.

The Physical Therapy Program awards a Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy upon completion of a curriculum based on high international and national standards.

The program provides a balance of basic sciences, behavioral sciences, clinical/physical therapy sciences, clinical practice, and critical/scientific inquiry. These enable the students to meet the market and community demand. It also equips the graduates to perform examinations & treatment to patients in hospitals, polyclinics, rehabilitation centers, child care centers, geriatric care centers, sport injuries rehabilitation centers, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation centers, & other health care facilities.

The Program of Physical Therapy was founded in 2005 and the study program started in September 2006. It proudly graduated its first class in 2011.

After successfully passing the Foundation Year, students are admitted into the Physical Therapy Program and study three years of theory with practical and clinical training. One year of Internship concludes the program.
